Job Posting Planogram Analyst Kontoor Brands is looking for a Planogram Analyst to support Category Management. This role is responsible for executing and maintaining apparel planograms that bring category strategy to life at shelf. Working closely with the Category Advisor and retail partners, the Planogram Analyst will leverage data, shopper insights, and space planning principles to deliver high‑quality, accurate, and effective modulars. The Planogram Analyst owns planogram accuracy, versioning, and execution readiness, while partnering with the Category Advisor on strategic shelf decisions. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into clear shelf stories that drive results. Key Responsibilities Modular & Planogram Creation Create, update, and maintain planograms (POGs) for assigned categories using space planning software (Blue Yonder). Develop data-backed shelving and assortment recommendations tied to category growth objectives. Translate data and planogram logic into clear, actionable storytelling. Collaborating with Partners Work closely with Kontoor Brands Category Management, Merchandising, and Activation Team partners. Ensure planograms align with category strategy, assortment decisions, and merchandising principles. Partner with Category Advisors to influence layout adjustments based on performance results and shopper behavior insights. Provide analytical support for category reviews, floor sets, new item launches, and assortment changes. Maintain Data Accuracy and Quality Control Perform quality checks on data inputs and planogram outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency. Troubleshoot data or tool issues in partnership with BI teams or vendors. Assist with maintenance of item level coding files that enable category reporting. Omni Competitive Analysis Analyze retailer POS, syndicated (Circana), and inventory data to inform shelf layouts and space-to-sales decisions. Identify trends, opportunities, and underperforming items to optimize product placement. Skills Planogram & Space Planning Software Skills Proficiency with space planning and planogram tools such as JDA / Blue Yonder, Apollo, Spaceman, or similar POG software Data Analysis & Quantitative Skills Strong ability to analyze POS, sales, inventory, and syndicated data (Circana) Comfort interpreting trends, productivity metrics (e.g., space-to-sales), and item performance. Solid grasp of basic math and retail analytics principles Excel & Productivity Tools Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) Working knowledge of PowerPoint for presentations and storytelling Working knowledge of Power BI Microsoft CoPilot a plus Attention To Detail & Accuracy Strong focus on data quality control and planogram accuracy Ability to manage multiple versions and deadlines without errors. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Strong teamwork skills for working with Kontoor Brands Category Management, Retailer Merchandising, and Retailer Assortment Activation teams. Ability to take direction from Category Managers while independently executing work. Professional communication with external retailers or vendors Experience/Education Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related analytical field.
