Plant Care Specialist The Claussen Group has two Seasonal Plant Care Specialist openings to fill.We are seeking applicants that have horticulture/botanical and retail experience.The Plant Care Specialist will be self-motivated and can work independently maintaining plants, annual landscaping beds, and indoor/outdoor planters at the Nursery and/or customer accounts in the Siouxland area.This will include but not limited to; driving company vehicle to accounts to water, day-to-day plant care of watering, weeding, applying fertilizer and repellents, and maintaining surrounding areas following best practices in the nursery.Also, retail duties of assisting customers with their purchases & cashier.This position typically is held mid-April to early-July.There are times when additional care is needed until October.Qualifications:Valid Driver's license and clean driving record, required.Retail experience, preferred.Work independently and manage time.Communicate and read labels in English.Botanical knowledge, preferred.Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift/move heavy loads.Excellent communication and work-ethic skills.Attention to detail.Job Type:Temporary Pay:$16.00 per hour Application Question(s):Do you have a clean Motor Vehicle Record for the past 5 years?
