Job Description
Position Purpose: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers to achieve on-time delivery, high individual productivity, and a smooth workflow. Set the tone on the floor by coaching employees, recognizing strong performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and mutual trust — ensuring manpower is utilized efficiently and that each team member is engaged in the success of the operation. Primary Objectives: Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to ensure each individual is putting in an honest effort daily, to maintain an atmosphere of mutual trust and honor between employees, as well as success and personal accomplishment. Execute a master production schedule which includes a job schedule, machine schedule and shipment schedule to maintain on time delivery, which will create an experience for our customers which builds supplier trust and dependability. Monitor time entries and employee effectiveness/performance, provide feedback to employees to maintain an efficient and effective workforce. This ensures the data inputs will yield good results with office use for scheduling, job costing, and other functions. Maintain an efficient workforce to fulfill production requirements. Recommend wage adjustments and responsibility thresholds. Motivate and develop employees to optimize performance as well as their personal and professional growth which will ensure the success of everyone. Identify areas of improvement whether it be scrap reduction, quality improvement, improved processes, or delivery improvement to ensure the success of Pro Products Inc. while improving the customer’s experience. Maintain ISO Standard, quality policy and objectives. Assist with the machine/equipment maintenance program. Assist with recommendations for policy and procedure. Perform other duties and projects on an as needed basis. Position Requirements Business, manufacturing, or engineering related degree or equivalent years of related work experience. Minimum of 5 years related production management experience from a similar type manufacturing company or 10 years of management experience from a non-related type of manufacturing. High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be extremely detail oriented while also having the ability to multitask. Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Experience with JobBOSS preferred.
