This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence while aligning plant performance with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, capable of balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, schedule adherence, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Team Management & Development: Lead production supervisors and team leads; provide coaching, performance management, and professional development to support organizational goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, quality, sales, HR, and finance to improve facility performance and align operations with company objectives. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, workflow optimization, productivity gains, and operational enhancements. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement short- and long-term operational plans to support capacity growth and business expansion. Performance Reporting: Track and communicate operational metrics, trends, forecasts, and key initiatives to senior leadership. Workforce Management: Oversee staffing plans, recruiting support, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions as needed. Safety Leadership: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies; establish measurable safety objectives and promote a culture of accountability. Production Planning: Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments and operational targets. Qualifications Experience: Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Prior responsibility for production oversight and supervisory management Leadership Capability: Strong ability to develop teams and drive accountability Experience managing performance, staffing, and operational outcomes Business Acumen: Ability to interpret operational metrics and financial drivers Experience identifying cost-saving and efficiency initiatives Communication Skills: Clear communicator with ability to present performance data to leadership Collaborative approach across departments Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
