Plant Nursery Associate

Responsibilities Plant care including watering, fertilizing, pest control, pruning, etc. Organize and manage incoming/outgoing plants and orders Take weekly inventories Daily interaction with customers including answering questions regarding gardening Operate cash register Answer telephone calls Assist with large daily merchandise deliveries, including unloading and pricing of plants, soil, pottery, and garden supplies Assist with merchandise stocking Assist with event and workshop set-up and clean-up, as needed Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lift and carry 60pounds Plant knowledge and farming experience a plus Organized and detail-oriented Team player Flexible and adaptable to change Work efficiently and independently Personable and friendly demeanor Excellent customer service skills Punctuality and time management Other Details 3 month probationary period Opportunities for growth Job Type:Full-time Pay:$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health savings account Application Question(s): Are you able to work on Saturdays and Sundays?
