What You’ll Do Partner closely with plant operations leadership to diagnose challenges, evaluate solutions, and implement improvements that enhance performance and profitability Identify and execute opportunities to optimize systems, reduce costs, and maximize plant efficiency Lead the design, scoping, and execution of capital and expense projects—from concept through completion Oversee plant upgrades and modifications, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver results on time and within scope Serve as a technical expert for processing facilities, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term development Perform process simulations, heat and material balances, and hydraulic analyses to improve system performance Evaluate and design relief and flare systems, ensuring safe and compliant operations Troubleshoot operational issues across gas plants, compressor stations, and treating facilities, delivering practical, high-value solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new development opportunities, providing early-stage engineering and cost insights Contribute to risk assessments, safety reviews, and integrity initiatives, helping maintain high standards of operational excellence What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out Be part of a company recognized for its unique approach to asset management—combining technical rigor with entrepreneurial speed Work in an environment where engineers are empowered to lead, innovate, and directly influence outcomes Gain exposure to a wide range of assets and projects, from optimization efforts to greenfield-style developments Collaborate with experienced professionals across operations, commercial, and technical teams Contribute to a culture built on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement What You Bring Strong background in process or plant engineering within the oil and gas industry Hands-on experience supporting plant operations and driving performance improvements Solid understanding of process safety principles and participation in hazard analyses Familiarity with gas processing equipment, systems, and industry standards Proficiency in process simulation tools such as HYSYS or ProMax Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across teams Willingness to travel to support projects and field operations This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible impact on operations and business performance.
