Plant Operator (Gas)

Golden Gate Petroleum is now accepting applications for the position of Plant Operator in its Western Colorado Facility. The plant has two processes; a fractionation process and a transmix splitter operation. The Operator must safely transfer hazardous products to and from truck transport vehicles. A Plant Operator will be responsible for keeping both operations working within set parameters regarding temperatures, pressures and vacuum settings. The successful candidate must be prepared to work four twelve hour shifts per week which will include two day shifts and two night shifts. In addition to operating the two processes, the Plant Operator must follow all company policies as well as adhering to regulatory compliance requirements, perform log entries, perform plant inspections and assist maintenance and I&E techs with routine maintenance and major projects. A background in the gas industry is preferred but not required. The successful applicant must be able to work independently and be able to work all shifts. Computer knowledge is helpful.
