Plant Supervisor

Job Overview Bennett Mfg. Co has been in business for over 100 years . We are seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for driving production flow, supporting team performance, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage people and processes. Duties Drive the flow of production to meet schedules and delivery commitments. Ensure effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment. Supervise and coordinate activities within a metal fabrication environment. Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to support efficiency and quality. Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Lead, coach, and motivate employees to achieve performance goals. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Administer disciplinary actions when required in accordance with company policies and union agreements. Maintain a safe work environment. Requirements Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment. Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team management skills Experience working in a unionized workforce preferred. Problem solving and decision making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
