Platform Enablement Lead Contract, Remote Position Summary The Platform Enablement Lead serves as the organizational bridge between platform transformation efforts and the departments responsible for communicating, understanding, marketing, selling, and supporting evolving platform functionality across the business. As the organization migrates multiple legacy systems into a consolidated ecommerce platform, new Learning Management Systems (LMS), and a modernized customer-facing experience, this role ensures that platform evolution is translated into clear operational understanding for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is a strategic enablement and communication function focused on creating clear documentation, structured deliverables, and scalable enablement resources that help cross-functional teams understand platform functionality, workflow changes, and customer experience impacts in order to effectively market, sell, and support students throughout platform transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Platform Translation & Cross-Functional Communication · Attend vendor, development, sprint, and product planning meetings to extract decisions, risks, dependencies, and changes relevant to cross-functional teams · Translate technical platform changes, sprint outputs, and system behaviors into clear, department-specific plain-language summaries · Serve as a centralized point of coordination and interpretation for questions related to platform functionality, workflows, and user experience · Proactively communicate platform changes that may impact marketing campaigns, customer communications, Learning Advisory workflows, sales processes, customer experience, or cross-functional launch readiness · Develop executive, departmental, and functional briefings tailored to varying stakeholder audiences · Create and maintain a plain-language changelog documenting what launched, what changed, why it changed, and downstream business impacts · Develop audience-specific enablement materials and guidance for Marketing, Sales, Learning Advisory, and Leadership · Coordinate internal education and knowledge-transfer activities related to new platform functionality and workflow changes · Translate platform functionality into practical workflow implications by department · Build and maintain enablement resources including internal product guides, workflow summaries, launch readiness materials, FAQs, support documentation, messaging frameworks, and adoption resources · Develop and standardize reusable templates, workflows, and enablement frameworks to support ongoing product and content release processes Legacy-To-Future State Mapping · Map prior-state functionality to future-state platform capabilities across ecommerce, LMS, and customer-facing systems · Identify gaps, workflow disruptions, feature parity concerns, and areas requiring communication or enablement support · Review and synthesize technical documentation including SRS documents, vendor documentation, implementation materials, workflow diagrams, sprint artifacts, and off-the-shelf platform capability documentation · Build and maintain a centralized feature inventory organized by user type and business function Go-To-Market & Launch Readiness Support · Maintain a launch readiness tracker aligning platform milestones with required enablement and marketing deliverables · Partner with marketing and product teams to create foundational messaging frameworks for new features and platform capabilities · Ensure launch communications accurately reflect current-state platform functionality · Maintain visibility into features or workflows still in flux to prevent misaligned external communications or organizational confusion · Support milestone demos, internal rollout planning, and launch coordination activities Skills & Qualifications · 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, product enablement, program management, product marketing, digital transformation, business systems, or related cross-functional roles · Demonstrated ability to interpret and synthesize technical documentation, platform requirements, workflows, or product specifications · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences · Strong organizational and systems-thinking capabilities · Experience building structured documentation, knowledge systems, process resources, or internal enablement materials · Comfortable operating within fast-paced, evolving, cross-functional environments · Ability to balance strategic think
