Job Description
Position: Controls Engineer- PLC Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Industrial PLC programming experience. Experience with multiple PLC platforms and industrial control systems. Strong understanding of sequencing, statebased control, and fault handling. Program, test, and debug control logic on multiple PLC platforms. Implement subsystem interfaces and data exchange with supervisory control systems. Develop logic for sequencing, interlocks, alarms, and fault handling. Implement failsafe behavior, including communicationloss detection. Support HMI integration through PLC tags, diagnostics, and control logic. Participate in system integration, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting. What You Will Bring: Experience with power generation systems or rotating equipment controls. Exposure to alternator protection/synchronization and SCR systems. Experience with Simulink PLC Coder Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) and field commissioning experience. Skills: Power Generation Controls systems Rotating Equipment Controls Turbine, Generator Controls & SCR etc..
