PLC PROGRAMMER

Deerfield Beach based manufacturer. Degree required, with 3-5 years experience. Experience with design of large, heavy duty devices and systems a plus. Allen Bradley PLC programming EXPERIENCE required., Siemens programming helpful. AutoCAD experience will be helpful. Some travel required. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Electrical Engineering degree preferred, will consider other qualifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop control schemes and select electrical hardware/software. Develop Engineering Instructions and Operating Logic Develop PLC and HMI programs Select electrical components Design power and control circuits. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Ability to read and interpret specifications and wiring diagrams. Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) Ability to multi task and meet critical deadlines Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges Good communication skills essential for team-based work and collaboration Resourceful in problem solving Basic knowledge of Project Management skills and terminology
