Plumber Levels Overview: We offer a progressive structure aligned with industry standards (apprentice to journeyman to master/senior levels). All roles are safety-sensitive and require working in physically demanding conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent bending/lifting, standing/walking on uneven terrain or in confined spaces, safely climbing ladders/scaffolding). Plumber I (Entry-Level / Apprentice) Perfect for motivated beginners with little to no experience in plumbing. Work under close supervision while learning fundamentals of commercial plumbing systems. Key Responsibilities: Assist with layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of water, drainage, waste, and gas piping systems. Help install/repair fixtures, valves, fittings, and equipment (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.). Carry tools/materials, perform general site clean-up, and maintain a safe/organized workspace. Complete basic paperwork and documentation. Actively learn plumbing codes, best practices, and commercial applications. Requirements: No prior experience required (1–3 years in construction/labor preferred but not mandatory). Strong commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and positive attitude. Self-starter with high energy and eagerness to learn. Willingness to grow in commercial plumbing systems. Plumber II (Mid-Level / Advanced Apprentice or Early Journeyman) For tradespeople building experience, ready for more hands-on technical work under supervision of a Plumber III or higher. Key Responsibilities: Repair, replace, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, valves, and drainage in commercial settings. Assist with (and increasingly handle) installation, testing, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. Read/interpret basic blueprints and specifications. Perform pressure testing, leak detection, drain cleaning, and basic system checks. Support site clean-up, material handling, and documentation. Build expertise in plumbing materials and commercial applications. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years relevant plumbing/construction experience (commercial preferred). Solid understanding of water/drainage systems, fixtures, and basic codes. Commitment to safety/quality, reliability, and teamwork. Mechanical aptitude and drive to advance under guidance. Plumber III (Journeyman-Level) Independent journeyman role for skilled professionals handling complex work and starting to mentor others. Key Responsibilities: Independently plan, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial/industrial settings. Troubleshoot/diagnose issues, perform testing/balancing, unclog drains, and ensure code compliance. Read/interpret blueprints, specs, and work orders accurately. Assemble/install piping (copper, PVC, etc.), fittings, and systems to specifications. Mentor Plumber I/II team members and share best practices.
