Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, sewer, and drainage systems across various construction sites and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure efficient operation of plumbing infrastructure, contributing to safe and reliable building environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, hands-on setting while delivering exceptional service to clients. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and drainage components using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with mechanical knowledge to ensure secure connections. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites or during remodeling projects. Utilize construction site experience to troubleshoot issues related to sewer lines, drains, and water supply systems efficiently. Follow schematics and technical drawings to install or repair HVAC-related piping or mechanical systems as needed. Operate a commercial vehicle for transportation of tools, materials, or personnel between job sites while adhering to safety regulations. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing, sewer line installation, or drainage system repair. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standards. Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and screwdrivers as well as power tools like drills and saws. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical diagrams essential for accurate installations. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Experience with welding, pipe threading, carpentry, or remodeling projects is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
