Sierra Vista Post-Acute is a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community dedicated to helping residents recover, rebuild, and regain independence. We provide short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, dementia support, and respite services in a compassionate, home-like environment. A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs, and recording vital signs. Other daily tasks are the following: Help patients use the bathroom Clean and bathe patients or residents Maintain patients’ hygiene and changed bedding Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds Serve meals and help patients eat their food Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Must have High School Diploma or GED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Must have a certificate and license as a CNA in the state of California in accordance with the law Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association Must have an active CPR Certification EXPERIENCE: New Graduate or Newly Passer are Welcome Experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) WHAT WE OFFER: We value our team members and provide a supportive and enriching work environment.
