Job Title PM&R Physician - PRN Requisition Number req28708 Location: John Peter Smith Hospital Job Description **Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician Fort Worth, TX | PRN | Acclaim Physician Group / JPS Health Network** Acclaim Physician Group, in partnership with JPS Health Network, is seeking a passionate and skilled PM&R Physician to join our expanding rehabilitation medicine team on a PRN basis in Fort Worth, Texas. The PM&R Physician will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while working collaboratively with rehabilitation therapists and other providers to improve functional outcomes and quality of life. Job Summary The Physician is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider. Duties And Essential Job Functions Provide inpatient consults and outpatient management of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, spinal cord, TBI, amputee, or other disabling conditions. Perform electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG, nerve conduction studies, and ultrasound/neuro-sonography. Create and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans. Oversee and coordinate therapies including PT, OT, and speech therapy. Manage spasticity and dystonia, including Botox injections (baclofen pump management optional). Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the PM&R program. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families on conditions, goals, and the rehabilitation process. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure holistic, patient-centered care. Participate in research, quality improvement, and educational initiatives within the department. Key Responsibilities
