PointClickCare EMR Administrator Consultant Medical malpractice cases are complex, and so are electronic medical records. In today’s world, attorneys need help understanding the system capabilities, workflows, and tools in the evolving landscape of electronic medical record (EMR) systems to support their clients best. Our extensive understanding and technical knowledge of health information systems help legal teams unravel the elaborate nature of digital patient health data and increase the speed and efficiency at which attorneys can build a strong case on behalf of their clients. Our services include medical record review, client education, developing case strategy and interrogatories, building documentation timelines, formulating eDiscovery requests, and interpreting metadata & audit trails. Together, our team of EMR experts delivers decades of deep clinical experience, healthcare operational knowledge, extensive technical understanding, insightful strategy, and proven capability to our clients nationwide. As our resident PointClickCare EMR Administrator expert, you would be bringing your in-depth domain and technical knowledge of the PointClickCare EMR system to this team to support cases where your expertise can shine. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze medical records and provide a written summary of your findings viewed from your expert lens, as well as other duties as directed. You will accept cases to review as your schedule allows and your interest dictates. For this role, you will be affiliated as a 1099 contractor and paid an hourly rate for completed billable work. You must be a legal resident of the United States. There are no benefits offered. This is a fully remote opportunity and work can be completed at your preference, including during non-business hours, as long as you meet client deadlines for delivery. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences or Technology discipline Current PointClickCare administrator employment with an SNF/LTAC client 5+ years of relevant PointClickCare application experience in a technical analyst role Possesses a deep understanding of clinical end-user documentation workflows and technical knowledge of PointClickCare information storage Demonstrates a strong understanding of and ability to interpret PointClickCare functionality and tools, including documentation, metadata, and audit trail logging Articulates how PointClickCare integrates patient data to and from other EMR or ancillary systems Produces detailed transactional audit log summary reports to support HIPAA compliance through the PointClickCare audit trail tool Preferred Former PointClickCare employee Maintains current PointClickCare application certifications or training Master's Degree (or similar qualification) in a Life Sciences or Technology discipline 8+ years of healthcare professional or clinical experience 3+ years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience Experience managing projects involving PointClickCare implementation methodologies and policies Demonstratable experience with PointClickCare EMR clinical solutions for use in practice areas including Skilled Nursing, Senior Living, Providers, Health Information Management (HIM), and more Comprehensive understanding of PointClickCare EMR clinical documentation workflows for skilled nursing, rehabilitation and senior living practice areas as well as physician, nursing, and other clinician roles Expectations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to turn around deliverables quickly with great attention to detail Ability to attend occasional meetings during normal business hours Great client-facing skills and consummate professionalism at every point of contact Applications PointClickCare EMR, Skilled Nursing Core Platform, Senior Living Core Platform, Providers.
