Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Polished Concrete / Resinous Flooring Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and maintaining high-quality polished concrete and resinous flooring systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform raw surfaces into durable, aesthetically appealing floors that meet precise specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop specialized skills, and contribute to the creation of long-lasting, visually stunning flooring solutions. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and leveling concrete slabs to ensure optimal adhesion for coatings and finishes. Operate power tools such as grinders, polishers, shot blasters, and concrete mixers to achieve smooth, polished finishes. Install resinous flooring systems including epoxy, urethane, and other decorative coatings according to project schematics and specifications. Perform concrete finishing tasks such as troweling, smoothing, and sealing to produce a high-quality surface finish. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute flooring layouts and installation procedures. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring installation or finishing preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to flooring projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate construction machinery such as concrete pumps or forklifts when necessary. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in polished concrete or resinous flooring applications.
