Contract Job Opportunity: Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Location: The Woodlands, TX Pay: $34.50/hour (Weekly Pay) |Dedicated Recruiter Support Position Overview Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a contract opportunity. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive sleep studies, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality diagnostic care in a clinical setting. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - AHA Titers - MMR, Varicella, HepB Vaccine TDAP TB Skin Test or CHest Xray Technical Skills - Must Have Experience with CPAP/BIPAP titrations Proficiency with Natus Sleepworks Experience working with pediatric patients Active RPSGT certification Experience / Skills Requirements Minimum of 2+ years of recent, hands-on experience as an RPSGT Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, diagnostic testing, and treatment interventions Ability to perform and evaluate complex sleep studies across diverse patient populations Physical capability to lift up to 75-100 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs as needed Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical standards Prepare and conduct overnight sleep studies, including patient setup and monitoring Review patient records, physician orders, and testing protocols prior to procedures Conduct patient interviews to assess medications, sleep habits, and contributing factors Perform advanced diagnostic testing and respond to patient needs during studies Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, and productivity expectations Support team development by mentoring junior staff and contributing to departmental goals Participate in continuing education and maintain required competencies Why Join Protouch Staffing?
