Pool and General Maintenance Technician Location: Milk and Honey Ranch Pay: $22.92 to $26.44 per hour. Our guests expect a pristine environment, and our pools and hot tubs are the centerpiece of their experience. We are looking for a dedicated Pool & Maintenance Technician to join our team—someone who takes ownership of their work and understands that the "little things" make the biggest difference. The Role This is a dual-focus position. Your primary mission is the absolute perfection of our two resort pools and our numerous hot tubs spread throughout the property. When the water is crystal clear and the chemistry is balanced, you will transition into a key member of our Maintenance Team, assisting with the upkeep and repair of the ranch’s facilities. What You’ll Do Pool & Spa Management: Perform daily water chemistry testing and balancing for 2 pools and multiple hot tubs. Execute all cleaning duties: skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and tile cleaning. Maintain pump rooms, filters, and heaters; troubleshoot equipment issues immediately. Ensure all pool decks and furniture are organized and "resort-ready" every morning. Maintain meticulous logs of chemical levels and maintenance performed. General Maintenance Support: Collaborate with the Maintenance Lead on repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Assist with groundskeeping, lighting updates, and "ranch-ready" prep for arriving guests. Help identify and fix preventative maintenance issues before they become problems. Be the "utility player" on the team—helping where needed to keep the resort in top shape. Who You Are A Water Expert: You understand the science of pool chemistry (CPO certification is a major plus). Handy & Versatile: You’re comfortable with a drill, a wrench, and a "can-do" attitude. Proactive: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a leaf in the pool or a loose deck board and you fix it. Professional: You will be working in guest-facing areas. A clean appearance and polite demeanor are non-negotiable. Capable: This job requires being on your feet, lifting heavy salt bags/chemicals (up to 50 lbs), and working outdoors in the Texas heat. Qualifications Proven experience in pool maintenance (Commercial/Resort experience preferred). General knowledge of facility maintenance (Handyman skills). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed (Resorts never close!). Why Milk and Honey Ranch?
