Pool Monitor (Non‑Lifeguard) – Part‑Time, Seasonal We are hiring five (5) part‑time Pool Monitors to support on‑site coverage at the community pool. This is not a lifeguard position. Pool Monitors provide a visible presence to help ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable environment for residents. Coverage is required seven (7) days per week, with monitors scheduled in rotating shifts to cover the following hours: Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM Friday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM Location: 5333 NW 132nd Ave, Portland, OR 97229 Benefits Summary - Sick Time Off/Holidays Requirements: Key Responsibilities Maintain a consistent on‑site presence at the pool area Monitor pool and surrounding areas for safety, rule compliance, and general order Perform random foot patrols of the pool and adjacent facilities Enforce community pool rules and organizational policies (Pool Rules & Etiquette) Address concerns professionally and escalate issues as appropriate Provide resident escort services to parking areas when needed Additional Notes: This role does not involve lifeguard duties and does not include water rescue or swim monitoring Position is part‑time and seasonal, with multiple schedules available Pay range is $19-22 per hour
