GoodHomes Groton is seeking a PART TIME Porter/Maintenance Technician.The hired individual will assist in preserving and maintaining the community so that the grounds, hallways, and other community areas are always kept clean and fresh.This individual will also be involved in assisting with light maintenance duties in the community areas as well inside of our apartment homes as requested by our residents.Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):1.Assists in various types of light maintenance duties as needed.2.Provide service to residents in a prompt and professional manner.3.Complete service requests in a timely manner.4.Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and neat.5.Maintain community areas, grounds, etc.clean and fresh While performing the above responsibilities and assignments, you may be required to perform tasks that will require physical exertion.In addition to the above, you will be required to lift and transport items.Qualifications:Special Skills Required Must be people oriented with strong organizational and make-ready skills.Must have a sense of pride about a job well done, be courteous and tactful, and have a commitment to quality work.Must be capable of working with little or no supervision.Organization skills and attention to detail are essential.Must be mechanically inclined.Must be clean cut, neatly dressed, and wear the proper uniform each day.Must have good character and background that can stand up under a thorough background check.Knowledge Technical aptitude Safety Light maintenance skills - including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc.Pay:$20.00 per hour Ability to Commute:Groton, CT 06340 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Groton, CT 06340:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
