Job Description
Our creative services agency is looking for a Post Supervisor who can actively shape and elevate projects throughout the edit process - not simply manage feedback rounds. The ideal candidate is calm, relational, detail-oriented and a very strong communicator. This role requires someone who can take initial creative direction, understand the project goals, and collaboratively develop the work alongside our editing team. The ideal candidate has strong creative instincts and can anticipate stakeholder feedback before it happens. They should be able to watch a cut and instinctively know: what the Creative Director will want adjusted, what the Producer will flag, and what the Client likely won’t respond to Rather than acting as a middleman who collects notes from multiple stakeholders and relays them back to editors, this person should proactively guide the edit toward approval-ready work before review ever happens. This person should Provide thoughtful, proactive creative feedback Help shape story, pacing, tone, and structure Anticipate revisions before they’re requested Advocate for both the creative vision and client expectations Build trust with editors while pushing the work forward Ensure projects arrive at review polished, intentional, and strategically aligned be a skilled editor in Adobe Premiere have experience in 2D animation in Adobe After Effects Be proficient in Excel / Google Sheets Big Plus: Have a network of freelance editors to pull from / staff up when busy This role is highly client-facing. Our Post Supervisor will communicate directly with clients throughout the post process, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, calm under pressure, collaborative, and confident in conversations around creative feedback. They should be able to: Take client notes professionally and in stride Maintain positive, relationship-driven communication Help clients feel heard and supported throughout the process Gently and diplomatically push back when requests move outside project scope or compromise the creative direction Represent our company with warmth, confidence, and good judgment The ideal candidate is also highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail or creative quality. They should be comfortable balancing timelines, feedback cycles, client communication, editor oversight, and delivery schedules across several active projects at once. We pride ourselves on being deeply relationship-oriented, and we want our Post Supervisor to be someone clients genuinely enjoy working with — a trusted creative partner, not just a project manager. Ultimately, we’re looking for someone who can truly lead the work in post-production — someone who helps guide the edit creatively, strategically, and relationally from first cut to final delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full post-production team (staff and freelancers), including editors, assistant editors, motion graphics designers & colorists Create and maintain edit timelines and milestones for each project. Ensure deadlines are met across the board Perform internal reviews of edit versions and provide creative feedback to editors and producers. Perform external reviews with key stakeholders and effectively communicate notes back to editors. Ensure all videos are properly sound-mixed, color finished, QC'd, and sent to client in correct final deliverable specs at the end of the project. For edits with multiple size ratios, ensure asset project tracking grids are maintained through entirety of project Maintain cost controls / track editor hours against project budgets. To apply, please send a resume, reel and/or editor portfolio reference projects, along with a short note about yourself.
