Job Summary Powder Coater/Painters Helper (1st/2nd) We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Powder Coater to join our team at the Madera facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques to ensure a durable and high-quality finish. This role requires precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter Helper to support our powder coating operations at the Madera facility. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs consistently. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and teamwork are essential for success in this position. Powder Coater Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed Apply powder coating to metal components using spray equipment and ovens Inspect finished products for quality, color consistency, and proper coverage Operate and maintain coating equipment, spray guns, and curing ovens Mix and match powder colors according to specifications Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and perform touch-ups when necessary Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards Additional duties assigned by management Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in powder coating or industrial painting Knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, and curing processes Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in coating operations Ability to lift and move heavy parts safely Painters Helper Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking parts Support powder coating application processes under the direction of experienced painters Load and unload parts into spray booths and curing ovens Help inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency Maintain and clean equipment such as spray guns, hooks, racks, and work areas Assist with mixing powders and preparing materials as needed Move materials and parts throughout the facility safely Additional duties assigned by management Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, painting, or powder coating environment preferred, but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and moving up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis Ability to follow instructions and learn coating processes and techniques Ability to read basic work orders and instructions Commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Experience: Powder Coating: 2 years (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
