Job Description
We are a brand-new, fully equipped powersports shop specializing in motorcycles, side-by-sides (SxS), and ATVs. Our focus is high-quality service, efficiency, and building a strong team culture from the ground up. This is a great opportunity to grow with a shop that’s just getting started. Position Overview We are seeking motivated B- and C-level technicians to join our team. You’ll be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics (depending on level), and repairs on a variety of powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides. This role is ideal for technicians who want to develop their skills, work in a clean and organized environment, and grow into higher-level positions. ResponsibilitiesC-Level Technician (Entry to Intermediate) Perform basic maintenance: Oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, brake service Chain and sprocket replacement Battery testing and replacement Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) Maintain clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and shop standards B-Level Technician (Intermediate to Advanced) Perform all C-level duties plus: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Engine work (top-end rebuilds, clutch work, cooling systems) Suspension service and upgrades Troubleshoot drivability and performance issues Use diagnostic tools and service manuals effectively Accurately document work and communicate with service advisors QualificationsFor C-Level 0–2 years of mechanical experience (powersports, automotive, or similar) Basic tool set Strong willingness to learn Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail For B-Level 2+ years of powersports or related mechanical experience Strong diagnostic skills Experience with engines, electrical systems, and drivetrains Own tools required Ability to work independently What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and level) Opportunity for advancement as the shop grows Brand-new facility and equipment Supportive team environment Ongoing training and skill development Employee discounts on parts and service Preferred (Not Required) Manufacturer certifications Motorcycle endorsement/license Experience with multiple brands (Honda, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, etc.) How to Apply Send your resume and/or a brief summary of your experience to: Jarredj@columbiarivermoto.com Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
