Pre-Litigation Attorney The Vartazarian Law Firm is a client-focused personal injury law firm dedicated to providing strategic advocacy, strong communication, and meaningful results for injured individuals. This role is ideal for a newly licensed attorney, a post-bar candidate awaiting results, or an attorney with early personal injury experience who is passionate about legal writing, client advocacy, and case development. The right candidate will be organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will help move personal injury matters through the pre-litigation phase by evaluating liability, reviewing medical records, preparing persuasive demand packages, communicating with clients and insurance carriers, and negotiating fair settlements. The Opportunity The Vartazarian Law Firm is looking for a Pre-Litigation Attorney who can take ownership of cases before litigation and help position them for successful resolution. This role is not limited to drafting demands. We are looking for someone who can think critically, communicate clearly, and help develop strong case strategy from intake through settlement. You will work closely with attorneys, case managers, medical providers, and clients to ensure cases are properly documented, deadlines are tracked, and clients receive consistent, professional guidance. This position is well-suited for someone who wants hands-on experience in personal injury law while developing strong legal writing, negotiation, and case evaluation skills. Accountable For Handling personal injury matters through the pre-litigation phase with support from case managers and staff Preparing persuasive demand letters and settlement packages -Reviewing medical records, bills, liens, police reports, photographs, and liability documentation -Evaluating liability, damages, causation, insurance coverage, and settlement value -Communicating with clients regarding case status, treatment, strategy, and settlement options -Communicating with insurance adjusters, medical providers, lienholders, and opposing parties -Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers -Identifying issues that may require litigation, further investigation, or attorney review -Conducting legal research and case analysis as needed -Documenting all case activity, communications, and updates in the firm’s case management system -Working collaboratively with legal assistants, case managers, and attorneys to move cases efficiently -Maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strong client service at all times Qualifications -0–1 years of attorney experience welcome to apply -Licensed California attorney preferred; post-bar candidates awaiting results may be considered -Personal injury experience is a plus but not required -Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills -Passion for persuasive writing and client advocacy -Professional, courteous, and client-focused demeanor -High attention to detail and strong organizational skills -Ability to manage multiple cases, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team -Positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented attitude -Comfortable using computers, legal software, and case management systems -Experience with Filevine is a plus Schedule -Full-time -Monday to Friday -On-site position Compensation $80,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
