POSITION:PRE-SORTER / LABORER PRIORITY TASK:Efficiently sort designated, non-conforming materials from an incoming stream PRIORITY PURPOSE:Provide a consistent flow of quality material to the processing system.EQUIPMENT:Hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, shovel, broom REPORT TO:Shift Leader OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Hand sort non-conforming materials from supply stream that moves along a conveyor system.Monitor the infeed quantity of the material into the production process.FACILITY RESPONSIBILITIES Keep work area and assigned areas clean and free of debris.Assist in cleaning common areas.COLLATERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide general clean-up for other areas of the plant as designated.WORK ENVIRONMENT Environment is extremely loud and can be dusty.Work is indoors Facility is not climate controlled Lifting weight up to 50 lbs.is required SCHEDULE 1st shift 5 am- 3pm 10hr shifts 4 days a week Monday -Thursday, depending on production schedule.Friday - Saturday shift required at times BREAKS 15 minutes at end of first 2 hours and 15 minutes at beginning of last 2 hours 30 minutes for lunch during the middle of shift.Coordinate breaks and lunch.PAY AND BENEFITS Starting pay $20.00 per hour.Medical and dental insurance provided with premium costs shared Uniforms and boots provided Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute:St.Louis, MO 63110 (Required) Ability to Relocate:St.Louis, MO 63110:Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
