What You Can Expect Working in the Preconstruction Manager Position The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for the commercial preconstruction process from initial opportunity through proposal submission, serving as the RedGuard's technical authority during the pre-award phase. This role is responsible for evaluating project documents, defining scope, and ensuring code compliance, to ensure accurate and competitive proposals are issued. This role works closely with Sales, Estimating, Operations, Design, and external stakeholders - including General Contractors (GCs), developers, architects, engineering firms, and Owner Representatives - the Preconstruction Manager ensures all proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and fully aligned with applicable building codes and regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in protecting RedGuard from risk, safeguarding its reputation for quality and compliance, and driving profitable growth through disciplined, technically defensible preconstruction practices.
