Premier Banker - Bilingual Chinese/English pref'd Chatham Square, Manhattan Salary:$50K - $70K/year Serving Others is Our Passion - As a growing member of the community for more than 90 years, Flushing Bank is dedicated to supporting and serving the individuals, families, professionals, and businesses in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and on Long Island.We Offer:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability 401K with Employer Match Paid Time Off, 11 Paid Holidays Incentive Programs, Volunteer Opportunities Supportive Environment for Growth You will be part of a team of professionals with a shared focus on delivering world-class customer service.The Premier Banker will be responsible for the acquisition and portfolio management of a premier client base.In addition, you will:Drive individual and branch financial goals including Investment/Insurance revenue and Premier Checking growth.Use a consultative approach to identify client needs, recommend banking, investment, and insurance solutions, and refer to partners as needed.Manage a client portfolio focused on retention, relationship deepening, and building a strong referral network.Proactively engage customers in-branch and through outbound outreach to build a solid sales pipeline.Partner with the Financial Consultant to meet investment sales goals.Encourage automated banking tools and process transactions manually when needed.Resolve account issues efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.Serve as Officer in Charge in the Branch Manager's absence.Adhere to all compliance, operational risk, and regulatory standards.Perform additional duties as assigned, including safe deposit box openings per policy.We require:Bachelor's Degree in Business (preferred), Finance, or related field, or comparable education and/or experience.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial institution or comparable experience in a retail environment.The financial expertise and experience to offer product recommendations for customers' immediate & long-term financial needs.Knowledge of financial institution operations, procedures, and the ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations.Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and computer and software systems, and in providing online and mobile banking demonstrations.Polished interpersonal communication and client service, and sales skills.Ability to apply strong analytical skills in reviewing data received from business partners.Effective verbal and written communication skills.The ability to interface with all levels of management and staff.Securities and Life & Health Licensing a plus, but not required.This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if hours worked are over 40 hours.Premier Banker, for immediate consideration, please apply now!
