Prep Chef/ Dough Maker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dough Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a strong background in various aspects of the food industry. This role requires a creative individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties Prepare and produce dough for various menu items, ensuring consistency and quality. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items. Manage inventory control, including ordering and tracking supplies needed for dough production. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on dough preparation techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in menu planning and execution for special events, catering, or banquets. Monitor food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Participate in shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Engage in effective team management and leadership to foster a positive work environment. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in food production, particularly in dough preparation. Background in casual dining or restaurant management is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management and control processes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Culinary experience with a focus on baking is advantageous. Previous roles in catering or hospitality settings will be considered a plus.
