BODHI KITCHEN, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, is looking for an afternoon Prep Cook. Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Prep/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to established recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes efficiently during service hours, maintaining high quality and presentation Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Follow food handling procedures to uphold safety and sanitation regulations at all times Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and flavor Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience with a focus on quality service Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in menu planning, food industry operations, or culinary roles preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us if you’re eager to develop your culinary talents in a lively setting where your contributions truly make a difference!
