We are looking for a kind, dedicated Assistant Teacher who truly enjoys being with young children and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team . Our classrooms are rooted in a play-based, child-led approach , where teachers guide learning through meaningful experiences, relationships, and strong social-emotional support. What You’ll Do Support the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, engaging classroom Help children feel safe, seen, and confident to explore Assist with daily routines and transitions Engage with children through play and meaningful interactions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Follow all DCYF licensing requirements Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children Meet DCYF licensing requirements (required) Patient, nurturing, and dependable A team player who values relationships and communication Schedule Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Start Date: July 1, 2026 Benefits Health insurance 401(k) program Free ECE college credits through the Early Achievers scholarship program Over 25 days of paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay Supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth If you are looking for a place where your work is valued and where children are truly at the heart of everything we do, we would love to meet you.
