,Jackson Christian Preschool (Campbell Street location) is seeking qualified candidates with a desire to work in a Christian environment with 18-months to 4-year-olds as a teacher assistant.This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting from 8:00 a.m.to 5:00/5:30 p.m.Monday - Friday, 12 months of the year (Closed specific holidays).Benefit options are available.Contact:Shelly Main, Preschool Director shelly.main@jcseagles.org 731-427-9593 Responsibilities:-Assist in our recess/play time for all ages, both on the playground or in the gym.-Help prepare age-appropriate recess activities/indoor games, maintain toys and supplies, and aid in the monitoring of students during play time.-Assist lead teacher as needed in the classroom to conduct and maintain a highly organized and professionally-functioning classroom.-Aid in the growth and development of students.-Provide a safe, clean, and secure classroom environment.-Nurture each child with love and compassion.-Abide by Tennessee state regulations, maintain classroom ratios, understand all JC Preschool safety and health protocols, and be able to act in an emergency.-Work respectfully with other JC employees.-Continue to grow and develop professionally.-Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:-Follow all guidelines set forth in the Jackson Christian (JC) Faculty Handbook, contract guidelines, Community Covenant, and Board policy.-Agree with Jackson Christian's Statement of Faith.-Active in a local Christian church.-Physically and emotionally able to perform all duties of the position.-At least twenty-one (21) years of age.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $11.25 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
