Preschool Teacher

Job Summary: Excel Academy in Southlake is growing, and we are looking for Rock Star Teachers! We are looking to expand our team by adding a full time passionate and childcare experienced teacher. Responsibilities and Duties: Meet the expectations of offering a quality early childhood experience by exceeding minimum standards. Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children to thrive in. Create and implement curriculum for specified age groups that align with the latest brain research in the industry. Team player with the ability to be flexible. Establish genuine and exceptional relationships with families, children, and team members. Obtain required training per company and state mandates including training to be a back-up van driver and or School-aged teacher. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Current CPR/First Aide Certification. Pass Criminal Background Screening. Prefer FBI fingerprinting within the past 12 months. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center or afterschool program.
