Next Generation Preschool is looking for a full-time preschool teachers. Knowledge in developing engaging and innovative lessons that allow our students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally is preferred, as well as incorporating hands-on learning experiences into the classroom with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate also believes in collaboration with other colleagues and promotes understanding and communication in a diverse learning and cultural environment. Job Responsibilities Follow daily lesson plans and learning activities for students based on the Creative Curriculum, Second Step, and Michael Haggerty. Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, hands-on learning, demonstrations, and independent practice using a variety of methods. Differentiate lessons when needed to give all students access to the curriculum regardless of ability, instructional level, English proficiency, or level of interest in the subject. Actively observe, monitor, and report students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom by modeling expected behavior and standards and promoting positive interactions. The Ability to Co-teach and share responsibilities. Communicate with parents daily in a professional and caring manner. Helping children with their daily needs, e.g. ( serving lunch and snacks, diaper changing, potty training, helping them to sleep, etc....…) Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties to ensure a healthy environment for the children. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent 1 Year Teaching Experience. 1 Year of Childcare Experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written Comfort in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Love for the children Attention to detail Preferred: Associates/Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or other related fields. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. Hourly rate: Starting pay $16 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and education.
