Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management, social skills, and emotional well-being among preschoolers. Conduct lesson planning tailored to individual student needs, including toddlers and children requiring special education support. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, and early childhood education standards. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure a safe, organized environment conducive to learning and childcare. Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about child welfare, progress reports, and developmental milestones. Incorporate standardized testing when appropriate to assess developmental progress and inform instructional strategies. Support inclusive education by working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring early intervention services or special education accommodations. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of early childhood education practices such as Montessori methods and literacy education strategies. Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is preferred. Prior preschool experience in private schools or daycare environments is advantageous. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is required; additional qualifications in toddler care or teaching physical education are a plus.
