Job Summary Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the President of Jewelry Merchandising is responsible for overseeing Gilbert Albert SA’s global jewelry merchandising strategy and product portfolio management. This includes product planning, collection development, merchandise structure optimization, and global market allocation. You will collaborate closely with the design, production, and marketing teams, as well as global retail partners, to ensure that the brand’s products achieve an optimal balance between artistic value and commercial performance. This role requires exceptional experience within the jewelry industry, strong merchandising capabilities, and a global market perspective to drive the brand’s long-term growth within the high-end jewelry and luxury retail landscape. Responsibilities Merchandising Strategy Formulate and execute global jewelry merchandising strategies and product planning. Design the structure and product mix for annual and seasonal jewelry collections. Optimize product lifecycle management and inventory structure. Ensure the product portfolio aligns with brand positioning and market demand. Product Development & Design Collaboration Collaborate closely with the design team to drive the development of new collections. Contribute to defining design direction and creative strategies for high-end jewelry. Coordinate material selection, craftsmanship standards, and product realization processes. Ensure products possess both artistic merit and commercial viability. Global Retail & Market Execution Oversee product launch strategies across global retail channels. Optimize product assortment and pricing strategies for diverse markets. Analyze global luxury market trends and formulate responsive strategies. Support global market expansion and the elevation of brand positioning. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Production, and Sales teams. Support brand marketing campaigns and new product launch strategies. Coordinate supply chain and production resources to ensure product delivery. Maintain strategic communication with retail partners. Data Analysis & Business Optimization Analyze sales data and product performance to optimize the merchandise mix. Drive a data-driven framework for product decision-making. Enhance product profitability and market conversion rates. Optimize global inventory management and supply allocation efficiency. Requirements 15+ years of experience in the jewelry, luxury goods, or high-end fashion industries. Experience in Merchandising, Product Strategy, or Brand Management. Deep understanding of the global luxury market and jewelry consumption trends. Experience in high-end jewelry product development or design collaboration is a plus. Exceptional strategic planning and business analysis skills. Ability to oversee a global product ecosystem and multi-market operations. Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills. Ability to balance artistic sensibility with commercial acumen. Familiarity with international retail systems and brand operational logic. Experience with fast-growing or design-driven brands is a plus. Work Type Full-time / Executive Level / International Role Remote + Hybrid (Flexible arrangement based on business needs and location) The company adopts a flexible work model, allowing for approximately 2–4 days of remote work per week; the remaining time is dedicated to on-site or cross-regional collaboration based on project and team requirements.
