Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Presser to join our dry cleaning team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their clothing looks pristine and feels fresh.This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in garment pressing, customer service, and attention to detail will shine.Responsibilities Operate pressing machines and equipment efficiently to press a variety of garments including suits, dresses, shirts, and delicate fabrics Ensure all garments are pressed according to specific customer instructions and quality standards Inspect garments for stains, tears, or other damages before pressing, notifying management of any issues Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and safety protocols are followed Assist with customer interactions by providing friendly service, answering questions about garment care, and ensuring satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately during drop-offs and pick-ups, including cash handling and cashiering duties Follow proper procedures for laundry processing when necessary, including sorting, folding, and packaging finished items Requirements Prior experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus Strong understanding of garment care, fabric types, and pressing techniques Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to operate commercial pressing machines safely and efficiently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Good attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishing of garments Reliable work ethic with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively Join our team and help us deliver outstanding garment care with energy and precision!
