Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGreat group in New Orleans seeking full time, permanent Primary Care NP/PA's to join their team. Bilingual English, Spanish/Vietnamese preferred. The office hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with Saturday rotation with the option of working two Saturday's a year from 8am - 12pm. They might consider part time, but prefer full time, EMR is Athena, average people per day is 15-18. Offering great salary, and sign on bonus, possible relocation assistance, health, vision and dental insurance, 403b with match after 1 year, Aflac available (facility pays for all administrative costs), PTO, CME time and allowance, license reimbursement, Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) malpractice insurance, and NHSC loan repayment. They utilize a call service so the call schedule is light, just by phone, no hospital time and is on rotation. This well-established group offers a variety of comprehensive primary care services to the community ranging from OB/GYN, Chronic Disease Management, Health Screenings, Health Education, Behavioral Health Services, Counseling, Stress Management, Relationship & Family Therapy and much more. They are very passionate about providing high-quality, cost effective health care and has received national recognition for providing patient centered care. Some responsibilities may include Conducting physical examinations and medical assessments Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results Prescribing medications and other treatments Educating patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care strategies Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed Managing and coordinating care with other healthcare team members Maintaining accurate and complete patient records Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans Participating in quality improvement activities and initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Requirements: Current registration in the State of Louisiana as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center. A Master of Science degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the American Nurse’s Association of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Must possess excellent clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and communication skills to effectively manage patient care. Must also adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality. Clinical experience in community health a plus Up to date on all continuing education
