Summary of Role GlobalFoundries is building an enterprise data catalog and lineage capability to make data easier to find, trust, and use across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance. This role is a senior individual contributor who will own the enterprise data catalog and lineage strategy end to end, driving adoption through automation, stewardship, and hands-on execution in a highly complex semiconductor environment. This is a high-impact, builder role for someone who has implemented data catalog and lineage capabilities at scale and is looking for ownership, visibility, and real operational impact. Essential Responsibilities Own the enterprise data catalog and metadata operating model, including standards, workflows, stewardship, and adoption metrics Lead implementation and ongoing optimization of the data catalog platform (Alation or equivalent), ensuring high-quality, trusted metadata Design and maintain business glossaries and critical data element definitions across priority domains, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance Deliver end-to-end data lineage for priority data products and reporting, enabling impact analysis and faster issue resolution Build and automate metadata ingestion and enrichment using APIs, scripts, and connectors across enterprise platforms Partner with data owners, data stewards, and engineering teams t
