Principal

The Lawrence County School System is seeking highly qualified and mission-driven applicants for the Principal position for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will bring strong instructional leadership, a proven record of academic turnaround, and a deep commitment to serving the Lawrence County High School community. REQUIRED CREDENTIALS Tennessee Licensure - Valid TN Administrative Licensure (ILL or ILL-P) Multiple years of successful administrative experience as a Principal or AP preferred Demonstrated experience leading academic turnaround initiatives Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and data-driven instructional practices Required Submission : Candidates must submit a Strategic School Improvement Plan outlining their proposed vision, priorities, and specific actions to improve student achievement, school culture, and operational effectiveness, and/or an Educator Leadership Portfolio .
