About us We are a family owned Austin business with over 50 years in the market supporting the print needs of builders, architecs, engineers, landscapers, designers and more with a focus on our Customers and Employees Burks Digital Imaging Large Format Print Production ( Round Rock ) compensation:OE - On Experience and Skills Job Description:Burks Digital Imaging is seeking an experienced Large Format Print Production (REPRO) employee to pre-flight projects, run large format equipment (including KIP, ULS LASER, SMALL FORMAT, EPSONS AND XEROX equipment, and finishing equipment), to support Architects, Engineers, Contractors and retail customers as needed for large and small format printing, and scanning.Responsibilities include: Prepare projects for printing (pre-flight) for large format production. Print using large format digital printers, inkjets, A4/A3 production printers and finishing equipment. Work with our other retail production managers to meet deadlines. invoicing, store to store transfers monthly billing re contract customers Work with inside technicians, vendors for maintaining production equipment and minimizing downtime.Desired Skills & Experience: A Love for Customer service and customer interation Knowledge with the pre-flight process for large format printing. Knowledge of printing large format. Knowledge of large format finishing equipment and procedures. Knowledge of Architectural and Engineering paper sizes and scaling procedures. Knowledge of project plan reading and interpretation of details when contractors are requesting specific sheets and specifications. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge and ability to navigate Project Plan rooms and FTP sites and downloading of plans and specifications for printing. Proficiency on PC and Mac platforms. Preferred 1 year of experience in print production and large format production. Strong Organizational skills. Works well in a team environment. Highly motivated, proactive, self starter.
