OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Printing Press Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing team.This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced press operators and contribute to the production of high-quality printed materials.As a vital member of our production line, you will assist in preparing, operating, and maintaining various printing presses, ensuring that every project meets our rigorous standards for quality and efficiency.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for print technology, this position is perfect for you! Responsibilities Assist with setup and calibration of printing presses, including flexo and CNC machines, to ensure optimal operation.Support prepress activities such as layout design, typography adjustments, color management, and print advertising preparations.Monitor printing processes to maintain consistent quality, making adjustments as needed for color accuracy and registration.Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production run to identify and resolve issues promptly.Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts for material handling and machining tools for minor repairs or modifications.Collaborate with the graphic design team to ensure print specifications are met accurately.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.Experience Prior experience working with screen printing, flexo presses, or CNC machinery is highly desirable.Familiarity with prepress processes including layout design, typography, and color management techniques.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print files.Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control and process improvement.Basic understanding of machining, CNC operations, and forklift operation is a plus.Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills related to print production workflows.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards.Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to producing top-tier printed products!
