Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in a home settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized memory care techniques Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of equipment for safe patient transfers Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care Certification in First Aid and CPR; additional training in hospice or dementia care is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare environments Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility assistance Familiarity with care plans, medication administration protocols, and vital signs measurement Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and their families Join our team if you’re eager to provide compassionate support that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably.
