Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Concierge Registered Nurse (RN) to provide personalized, high-quality nursing care in a private home or community setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver comprehensive patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and serve as a trusted advocate for our clients’ health and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to develop individualized care plans. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform wound suturing with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage complex medical procedures such as catheterizations, tube feedings, ventilator support, and dialysis treatments within the home or community setting. Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and family members to ensure seamless continuity of care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Provide emergency response when necessary by utilizing skills in airway management, acute pain management, and critical care principles; escalate issues promptly to appropriate healthcare providers. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records management. Educate patients and families on health coaching topics including medication administration, disease management (e.g., Alzheimer’s or dementia care), nutrition, and mobility support. Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Proven experience in private duty nursing or home healthcare settings; experience with long-term care, assisted living facilities, or hospital environments highly valued. Familiarity with complex medical procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, ostomy care, and infection control practices. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Ability to work independently while managing multiple patients; excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; background in geriatrics or memory care is advantageous.
