Only accepting local candidates (Ludington) Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate, warm, friendly and dedicated part-time Caregiver to provide essential support to individual in need of assistance.As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individual with a physical disability.Your responsibilities will include offering personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities to ensure the well-being and comfort of the individual.Schedule 7 days per week, 4 shifts per day Morning shift is 7-10 (help patient out of bed, into shower chair, dry off and help get dressed) 1 pm (assist patient get into bed) 4 pm (assist patient out of bed) 8 pm (assist patient into bed, for the night) Duties Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.Support individual with memory care needs by engaging them in meaningful activities and providing companionship.Ensure the safety and comfort of client by maintaining a clean and organized living environment.Monitor and report any significant health changes to nursing staff or family members.Provide direct support to individual, fostering independence while ensuring their safety.Skills Experience in nursing homes or senior care settings is highly desirable.Knowledge and best practices for working with handicapped individuals.Ability to provide direct support while respecting individual dignity and promoting independence.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.Warm, compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours:10 - 30 per week Benefits:Flexible schedule Application Question(s):Have you ever been a no call no show to an interview?
