About The Bloom School: The Bloom School is a nonprofit early childhood program serving children ages 3–6, including typically developing children and children with disabilities. Our classrooms integrate an engaging indoor/outdoor curriculum with embedded therapeutic supports, creating an inclusive and developmentally rich learning environment. www.thebloomschool.org Position Overview: The Bloom School is seeking a passionate, dual-certified Early Childhood and Special Education Teacher to lead a mixed-ability classroom of young learners ages 3–6. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of child development, inclusive practices, differentiated instruction, and collaborative service delivery models. Classrooms maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio (maximum 10 students, 5:1 ratio) to ensure individualized instruction and meaningful engagement. Key Responsibilities: Instruction & Curriculum: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards. Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse developmental and learning needs. Utilize play-based, experiential, and outdoor learning strategies. Collaboration: Partner with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers. Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom activities. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development. Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing, structured learning environment. Implement positive behavior supports and social-emotional learning strategies. Maintain compliance with state and licensing regulations. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field. Dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Experience teaching children ages 3–6. Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices. Preferred: Experience in a mixed-ability or inclusive preschool setting. Knowledge of play-based and outdoor learning models. Experience collaborating in a therapy-integrated environment.
