We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans, provide therapeutic activities, and assist patients in developing or regaining the skills necessary for daily living and functional independence. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals. Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and fine motor skills. Provide guidance and support to patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices as needed to facilitate patients' engagement in meaningful occupations and activities. Monitor and document patients progress during therapy sessions, including objective measurements and subjective observations, and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment planning.
