Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN In-Home Aide to provide exceptional care and support to clients in their homes. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately and securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with catheter care, wound management, and hospice support as needed Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform patient transfers safely using proper techniques Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients Support clients’ emotional well-being through companionship and engaging activities within their home or community settings Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and caregiving best practices for seniors and individuals with disabilities Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required; additional certifications such as first aid or hospice training are a plus Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and medical instructions Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for community-based visits Join our team as a PRN In-Home Aide and bring your compassion, skills, and energy to improve lives every day!
