We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN MRI Technologist to provide as-needed coverage while delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort Screen patients for MRI safety risks, including implants and contraindications Demonstrate competency in peripheral IV insertion, maintenance, and contrast administration in accordance with established clinical protocols Administer contrast agents and monitor patients for adverse reactions Operate MRI equipment safely and maintain imaging quality standards Verify patient identity and confirm orders prior to procedures Document imaging procedures accurately in EMR and PACS systems Ensure compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any operational issues Requirements:QualificationsARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certification required Texas Medical Board MRT License required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred Strong knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Schedule Friday and Saturday required, with additional days as needed based on operational demands Why Join Pathway Imaging?
