Job Overview Assist Head Golf Professional with answering phones, booking tee times, course play, tournaments, outings, managing retail transactions, keeping the Pro Shop inventory staffed and a clean work environment.Must be able to provide superior customer service and ability to develop and maintain a good working relationship with all members of the golf course team, including maintenance, cart staff and restaurant staff.Must be able and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Pro Shop experience is not necessary, but complete golf knowledge is mandatory. Responsibilities Administer point of sales transactions and maintain the day-to-day golf reservation systems, booking tee times, answering phones, check-in customers, and receiving payments for green fees and merchandise.. Accurately reconciles cash register sales with daily sales reports at shift change points. Keep a working knowledge of all upcoming tournaments and programs to provide accurate information to guests. Assist with maintaining the data management system within the point-of-sales software. Ensure the shop area is clean, organized, and inviting for customers.. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong customer service and computer skills, along with excellent phone etiquette. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts. Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques. Knowledge of the basic rules of golf.Pay:$15.16 per hour Expected hours:16.0 - 30.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location:In person.
